Quantum Metrology: From foundations to the future kicks-off the UK’s “quantum week” and is part of the United Nations designated International Year of Quantum Science and Technology 2025 (IYQ) – a global initiative led by UNESCO to mark 100 years since the foundations of quantum mechanics. As part of the UK’s official contribution, NPL is proud to host one of 11 global events alongside an international steering committee of National Metrology Institutes – Quantum (NMI-Q).
